Tonight, tonight... de Smashing Pumpkins
Hace unos días comentaba que me había gustado especialmente el video de Julieta Venegas "Limón y sal". Además, ultimamente se habla mucho de Jonathan Dayton y Valerie Faris por la película Pequeña Miss Sunshine (Little Miss Sunshine, 2006). Pues, uno de sus grandes éxitos antes de dar el salto a la gran pantalla, fue este magnífico video, con el que consiguieron seis MTV Video awards en el año 1996.
Nota friki: A modo de curiosidad, este video fue inspirado en gran medida por una película del cine mudo "Viaje a la luna" (A trip to the moon, 1902) dirigida por Georges Méliès, de la cual surge el nombre del barco al final del video. Creo que es considerada la primera película de ciencia-ficción de la historia del cine, basada vagamente en los relatos de Julio Verne y H.G. Wells de similar temática.
