Versiones imposibles: Walking with a ghost

No, esta vez no se trata de una versión imposible de las que suelo incluir, sino de una que incluso puede que supere al original. Entonces os preguntareis por qué meterla en la categoría de versiones imposibles, bueno porque he visto en Internet que dicha versión ha sufrido críticas bastante feroces.

En el año 2004, el duo canadiense Tegan and Sara, publica su album So jealous, que incluía temas como "Where does the good go" (también en la banda sonora de Anatomia de Grey) y este "Walking with a ghost".

Tan solo un año más tarde, The White Stripes realiza una versión de este tema, cuyo video es genial. Es divertidisimo ver como esta versión es muchas veces tirada por tierra achacando sus maldades a los integrantes del grupo The White Stripes, pero en cierto modo modo me parece complementaria y que aporta un punto de vista distinto sobre el original. Las chicas con sus voces etéreas simplemente parecían bordear la locura, en cambio, en el segundo caso dicha locura es prácticamente una realidad. Dos puntos de vista sobre un mismo tema, muy bien reflejados por los correspondientes videos. Ni que decir tiene que a mi la versión rockera me parece mucho más evidente, sin por ello dejar de ser interesante.
